How Hoobuy shipping works

Enter your country, item type, packed weight and dimensions in Hoobuy’s estimator. Watch the units: a field labelled grams needs 1,000 for a 1 kg parcel. Use measured or reasonably estimated packing details, and update them when the warehouse has a finished package.

If an item contains a battery, liquid or unusual material, ask about that exact item before purchasing. A category being searchable does not mean every route accepts it.

Read the route as a service

Compare the billing weight rule, minimum charges, parcel limits, tracking, delivery estimate and optional cover. Check which additional services are in the total and what may still be payable at the destination.

Keep quotes comparable: the same contents, address and protection. A faster delivery estimate can cost more and remains an estimate. Use your needed arrival date to decide whether ordering now leaves enough time for seller dispatch and warehouse work too.

Shopping precautions for your haul

Before buying, confirm any restrictions for batteries, liquids, fragile items and your destination. Save the selected variant and size chart, allow money for the second payment, and track return and storage deadlines while collecting several items. Do not let a pending purchase hide an approaching deadline for something already in the warehouse.

Use the actual recipient, address, contact details and accurate item information requested by the shipping flow. Check the receiving country’s current requirements for the contents and value.

If no eligible route appears, ask whether a permitted packaging change or separate parcel would help. If the item cannot travel, discuss a return while it remains possible. Do not change a description to get around a restriction.

Follow the handovers

A tracking number can be created before the carrier receives the parcel. Read the shipping status as well as the first scan. Once it enters the destination country, a local carrier or local tracking number may provide more detail.

If tracking stops beyond the expected update period, send Hoobuy the parcel number, last scan and date. Ask what the next expected event is and when an enquiry can begin.

Check the delivery while the packaging is available

Compare the received pieces with the parcel list. If a box is damaged or something is missing, keep labels and packaging, take clear photos and contact the relevant support channel promptly. Ask what documents and deadline apply to a claim.
